Chrysler brand sales solid in March

It is wild to think that yet another new month is upon us (where is the time going?). And with the arrival of April, your Chrysler dealership in Lancaster is busy taking in March sales results from the Chrysler brand. The results are promising: the Chrysler brand posted its best March sales since 2007, with a couple of key contributors lighting the way for this iconic American brand.

The Chrysler brand posted United States sales of 193,915 units, a 13 percent increase compared with March of 2014 (171,606 units), and the company’s best March sales since 2007. Yet this solid performance is part of a broader trend: March was the 48th consecutive month in which the Chrysler brand posted year-over-year sales gains; and when you take the first three months of 2014 as a whole, Chrysler brand sales are up 11 percent compared with the same quarter in 2013.

Pivotal to this success was the fact that six Chrysler Group vehicles set sales records in March. Leading the way was the 2014 Chrysler Town & Country minivan, which saw a 14 percent sales increase in March, the minivan’s best March sales since 2008. And with production of the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 mid-size sedan expected to commence during the second quarter, this ongoing momentum is expected to continue building in the right direction.

The numbers don’t lie: the Chrysler brand is trending in the right direction, and has been doing so for the past five years. We urge you to come in and meet the line of vehicles that is helping this iconic brand sustain its momentum—you won’t be disappointed.
